Michel KIHM is a baritone who obtained his singing diploma in 1995 after musical studies at the ENMD in La Rochelle (17), and quickly became interested in singing pedagogy.<\/p>

He continued his training in Paris with Gilles Denizot (Op\u00e9ralab), Marie-Claire Cottin (Ariam Ile de France), Margreet Honig and Udo Reinemann (Sweelinck conservatorium Amsterdam), Richard Miller (Oberlin College USA) and Noelle Barker (Guildhall school London).<\/p>

He deepened his bodywork with Myriam Pfeffer (Feldenkrais Method), Alain Sicard and Sylvie Fourdinier (Postural Stretching), Dominique Biraud (Qi gong and Tai Chi) Jean Blaise Roch and Alain Piron (Osteopathy and singing voice), Robin de Haas and Lynn Martin (Respiratory Coordination).<\/p>

Fascinated by the human relationship with sound and music, he then trained as a musician-therapist in intuitive touch and musical hypnosis with St\u00e9phane Ottin-Pecchio, sound therapy (singing bowls), therapeutic tuning forks and acupuncture with Fabien Maman, and mindfulness relaxology (Lao-Tseu-Ki Method).<\/p>

His solo repertoire includes Bach (Magnificat), Mozart (Coronation Mass), Puccini (Messa di gloria), Durufl\u00e9 (Requiem), Donizetti, Poulenc, Schubert…<\/p>

He has performed on several occasions under the direction of Michel Piquemal, notably in 1999 with the Grand Choeur de l’Abbaye aux Dames de Saintes (17) and the Orchestre National de Bordeaux Aquitaine in Mozart’s “Missa Longa”, then in 2000 with the Philidor ensemble in Michael Haydn’s “Missa Sancti Hieronymi”, then in 2004 in E. T. A. Hoffmann’s “Miserere” and J. Haydn’s “Missa in tempore belli”.T.A. Hoffmann and J.Haydn’s “Missa in tempore belli”, and in 2005 in Faur\u00e9’s “requiem” and J.G. Ropartz’s Psalm 129 “De profundis”.<\/p>

In May 2005, in Brussels, he played Falke in “R\u00e9veillon de Fledermaus”, an adaptation of Meilhac et Hal\u00e9vy’s “R\u00e9veillon” and J.Strauss’s “Die Fledermaus”, directed by Beno\u00eet Blampain.<\/p>

In 2007, he directed the show “Bonsoir Monsieur Offenbach” which was presented in the Poitou-Charentes region.<\/p>

In July 2012, he took part in the Nuits Romanes in Poitou-Charentes with a vocal ensemble in a concert of duos and trios (Mozart, Mendelssohn, Shumann, Delibes).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Since 2003, Michel KIHM has been vocal technique teacher with the Choeur de Chambre des Deux-S\u00e8vres (conducted by Anne Koppe), and for many years was singing teacher with the Grand Choeur de l’Abbaye aux Dames (conducted by Michel Piquemal) and the Ensemble Vocal de l’Abbaye aux Dames in Saintes (17), directed by Michel Lapl\u00e9nie.<\/p>\n

He directs singing classes in Aiffres (79) and La Rochelle (17).<\/p>\n
